It was classic 'old Buffalo' as they shot themselves in the foot, getting into a hole on defensive side and Allen trying to overcompensate to dig his team out of it - not the composed, controlled, balanced Buffalo team we've seen this season

The Dolphins have demonstrated a bit of everything this year so the verdict is uncertain on if this is the beginning of something, but for Buffalo they'll require an immediate bounce-back in a difficult matchup against the Buccaneers in week 11 as the New England are sneaking into a comfortable advantage at the top of the AFC East

Speaking of the Patriots, they're one of three different 8-2 squads in the NFL, all AFC sides, but are they the best?

One could find flaws in the Patriots, the Broncos and the Colts actually for dominating the weaker opponents, with only five of their total 24 victories achieved against teams with a positive record - and one of those was the Colts defeating the Denver

Visiting Baltimore is challenging too, but the Broncos have it more difficult in the AFC West with the Kansas City to face two times, the Chargers (who might also challenge for top seed but encounter the identical challenge) and additionally the Green Bay on the fixture list

The Colts also play the Kansas City, and have the Seattle, 49ers and two games with the 5-4 Jaguars to contend with. There's a considerable distance to travel but the opportunity is available for a surprise top seed in the AFC

Seattle were also defeated to the 49ers, with a late touchdown in week one, before losing to the last kick of the game against the Buccaneers - so they are truly two of the best sides in the NFL

The next matchup on Sunday could be the most exciting of the year so far
