Ex- Doctor Charged with Sexual Assault Charges Against Thirty-Eight Patients
Legal authorities have stated that a ex- doctor has been charged with carrying out sexual assaults against thirty-eight individuals who were under his care.
Details of the Grave Charges
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of numerous acts of sexual assault – including some against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 and 2021.
A senior prosecutor stated, “Our prosecutors have worked at length to support a detailed and complex investigation, meticulously examining the available evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
The Investigation
The charges follow what investigators called a “detailed inquiry” into alleged assaults at two hospitals: the Royal Stoke university hospital and Russells Hall hospital.
Spencer is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.

The charging documents outline the 45 sexual offences include:
- 15 counts of sexual assault.
- 17 counts of penetrative assault.
- Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- Three counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen.
- One count of attempted penetrative assault.
