The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in an LA Car Crash
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a vehicle crash in California at the age of 55.
His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.
The renowned industry figure passed away following his car crashed and caught fire on a freeway in Los Angeles on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and we stand with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his creative vision," an official with Electronic Arts said.
